Flow Cytometry Core Facility

FACSCalibur
Our FACSCalibur is less than one year old. It can measure up to four fluorescent colors, as well as FSC and SSC. It is equipped with a 488nm argon laser and a 635nm diode laser. In addition, the FACSCalibur can run APC or CY5 off of the red laser. Researchers can be trained to operate this flow cytometer on their own for aquisition of their data. The FACSCalibur runs Cell Quest on a Power Macintosh.
